When Do Black Friday Bathroom Vanity Sales Start in Canada? 2026 Guide

When Do Black Friday Bathroom Vanity Sales Start in Canada? 2026 Guide

Should You Buy a Bathroom Vanity Early or Wait?

If you’re planning to buy a bathroom vanity this Black Friday, you’ve probably already wondered:

Should I buy early, or wait until Black Friday itself for a better deal?

It’s a fair question. Black Friday 2026 officially falls on Friday, November 27, but in Canada, the shopping event hasn’t really been limited to one Friday for years.

Retailers often start promoting deals earlier in November, and some stretch their sales across several weeks.

That can be great if you’re shopping for a TV or a coffee maker. But buying a bathroom vanity is a little different.

You’re not just looking for a good price. You need the right width, sink configuration, colour, countertop, storage and style for your bathroom.

And if you wait too long, the vanity you actually want may no longer be available.

So when should you start looking?

When Is Black Friday 2026 in Canada?

Black Friday 2026 is on Friday, November 27, followed by Cyber Monday on November 30.

But we wouldn’t recommend waiting until November 27 to start shopping for a vanity.

Think of Black Friday as a shopping season, not a single day.

You’ll likely start seeing terms such as:

Early Black Friday Deals → Black Friday Week → Black Friday Weekend → Cyber Monday

The exact dates vary from one retailer to another.

For someone renovating a bathroom, that extra time is actually useful. It gives you a chance to compare products properly instead of making a major purchase under pressure.

When Do Bathroom Vanity Black Friday Sales Start in Canada?

There’s no universal start date.

As of October 5, most major bathroom and home-improvement retailers haven’t announced the exact start of their 2026 Black Friday promotions.

Here are some of the stores Canadian vanity shoppers are likely to be watching:

Store Black Friday 2026 Bathroom Vanity Selection
CC Supply Black Friday collection available to browse Large selection of assembled bathroom vanities in multiple sizes and styles
Home Depot Canada Exact 2026 start date TBA Large online and in-store vanity selection
RONA Exact 2026 start date TBA Freestanding and wall-mounted vanities
IKEA Canada 2026 Black Friday page is live; sale dates TBA Modular and space-conscious bathroom furniture
Home Hardware Exact 2026 start date TBA Bathroom vanities and renovation products

We’ll update this guide as the 2026 Black Friday schedules are announced.

But if you’re renovating, don’t wait for a retailer to announce its sale before you start looking.

October is a good time to measure your bathroom, decide what size you need and shortlist a few vanities.

Then, when Black Friday prices start appearing, you’re comparing prices on vanities you already know will work.

Should You Buy a Bathroom Vanity Early or Wait Until Black Friday?

This is where things get interesting.

Imagine you need a 60-inch double-sink vanity in a specific colour.

You find the right one during an early Black Friday promotion.

Do you buy it?

Or do you wait until November 27 and hope it drops another $100?

If several vanities would work equally well in your bathroom, waiting might make sense.

But if you need a specific size, colour or configuration, there’s another factor to consider:

availability.

A 48-inch vanity isn’t a substitute for a 60-inch vanity if your bathroom was designed around 60 inches.

A single sink may not work for a household that specifically wants two sinks.

And saving another 10% doesn’t help much if the colour you wanted is sold out.

That’s why we recommend deciding which vanity you want first and worrying about the Black Friday price second.

If you’re still figuring out the correct size, our Bathroom Vanity Size Guide breaks down common 24", 30", 36", 48" and 60" options and where each tends to work best.

Don't Let the Sale Decide Which Vanity You Buy

One mistake we see during sales is shoppers starting with the discount instead of the bathroom.

They see a heavily discounted vanity and then try to make it work in their space.

We recommend doing the opposite.

Start with your bathroom.

Before Black Friday, figure out:

  • your maximum vanity width and depth;
  • door and drawer clearance;
  • plumbing location;
  • single or double sink;
  • floating or freestanding;
  • storage needs;
  • preferred colour and finish.

If you want to go through the process step by step, see our Bathroom Vanity Planning Guide.

And if you’re unsure about your measurements, use our Guide to Measuring Your Bathroom Vanity before ordering.

A few minutes with a tape measure can save you a much bigger headache later.

What Vanity Size Should You Watch This Black Friday?

This depends entirely on the room.

For a powder room or compact condo bathroom, you may be looking around 24 to 30 inches.

A typical family bathroom might work better with 36 or 48 inches.

For a larger primary ensuite, you might be looking for a 60-inch double vanity.

We already have more detailed guides if you’re deciding between sizes:

For compact bathrooms, start with our 30-Inch Bathroom Vanity Buying Guide.

If you have more room, our 48-Inch Bathroom Vanity Guide covers the popular middle-ground size.

And for larger bathrooms, read our 60-Inch Bathroom Vanity Buying Guide.

Once you know your size, head back to the Black Friday Bathroom Vanity Deals and compare only the options that fit.

Shopping becomes much easier when you eliminate everything that won’t work.

Do Black Friday Vanity Prices Get Better Closer to Black Friday?

Sometimes.

But not always.

There’s no rule saying the best price must appear on November 27.

A vanity might receive an early Black Friday discount and stay at that price through the weekend. A retailer might discount different models later. Or a particular size or colour might sell out before the main event.

So instead of asking:

“Will this be cheaper on Black Friday?”

We think the more useful question is:

“Would I be happy buying this vanity at this price?”

If the answer is yes, and it’s the exact vanity you want, that may matter more than trying to squeeze out the last possible discount.

Is Black Friday Actually a Good Time to Buy a Bathroom Vanity?

It can be—especially if your renovation is already planned.

Vanities are relatively expensive compared with smaller bathroom accessories, so a meaningful sale can make a noticeable difference to the renovation budget.

But Black Friday works best when you've already done the research.

If you start looking for the first time on Black Friday morning, you still need to compare dimensions, materials, sink configurations, countertops, colours and installation requirements.

That’s a lot to decide while also trying to determine whether you're getting a good deal.

If you do that work beforehand, the sale becomes much simpler.

You already know what you want.

You're just waiting for the right opportunity to buy it.

Should You Buy Your Vanity Before the Renovation Starts?

In many cases, yes.

We generally prefer having major fixtures selected before the renovation gets too far along.

You don't want your contractor ready for the next stage while you're still trying to decide between two vanity sizes.

But buying early comes with its own checklist.

Confirm the measurements, product specifications and plumbing requirements. Think about delivery timing. And if the renovation won't start immediately, make sure you have somewhere safe and dry to store the vanity.

Also check the shipping and return conditions for the specific product you're considering.

CC Supply currently offers free shipping to Ontario and Quebec on qualifying orders over $95, with some products excluded. Construction Commodities Supply Inc.

What If You're Renovating the Whole Bathroom?

This is where Black Friday can become particularly useful.

Maybe you're not buying only a vanity.

You might also need a new faucet, shower system and bathtub.

Instead of treating each purchase separately, think about the room as a whole.

Once you’ve selected your vanity, compare the options in our Bathroom Faucet Black Friday Sale.

Planning a shower upgrade too? Browse the Shower Faucet Black Friday Sale for shower systems and fixtures.

And if a bathtub is part of the renovation, check the Bathtub Black Friday Sale.

One thing to watch with larger products is shipping. Some bathtubs, for example, are listed as pickup-only sale items, so always check the individual product page rather than assuming every Black Friday item has the same delivery terms. Construction Commodities Supply Inc.

Renovating the Kitchen Too?

Black Friday isn't only an opportunity for bathrooms.

If your renovation includes the kitchen, this can also be a good time to compare sinks and faucets.

If you're replacing both, we'd usually choose the sink first.

Why?

Because the sink has more physical constraints. Cabinet dimensions, countertop cutout and installation type can all affect what will work.

Once you've selected the sink, choosing a compatible faucet is much easier.

Check the Kitchen Sink Black Friday Sale first, then compare matching options in the Kitchen Faucet Black Friday Sale.

That order reduces the chance of buying something because the Black Friday price looked great and only later discovering that it doesn't work with the rest of the project.

Black Friday or Cyber Monday: Should You Wait?

Cyber Monday 2026 falls on November 30, only three days after Black Friday.

So yes, you could wait.

But consider what you're waiting for.

If you've found the exact 60-inch vanity you want at a price you're happy with on Friday, waiting until Monday means betting on two things:

the price getting better and the vanity still being available.

For products that are easy to substitute, that may be a reasonable gamble.

For a vanity where you need a particular size, colour and sink configuration, we'd be more cautious.

What About Boxing Day?

This is the other big question for Canadian shoppers:

Should I skip Black Friday and wait for Boxing Day?

There's no single answer.

If your renovation is months away and you're flexible about which vanity you buy, waiting may be perfectly reasonable.

But if you've already found the exact vanity you want during Black Friday at a price that works for your budget, waiting another month means accepting the possibility that the same size, colour or model won't be available.

We'll compare the two sale periods properly in our upcoming Black Friday vs. Boxing Day Bathroom Renovation Guide.

Our Advice: Make Your Vanity Shortlist Before Black Friday Starts

The easiest way to make a bad Black Friday purchase is to try to answer two questions at once:

Which vanity should I buy?

and

Is this a good deal?

Separate them.

Use October and early November to figure out the first question.

Measure your bathroom. Choose your size. Decide between single and double sink. Narrow down the colours. Check your plumbing. Compare the styles you actually like.

Then when the Black Friday deals arrive, you only have one question left:

Is this the price I've been waiting for?

That's a much easier decision.

Our advice after helping customers compare bathroom vanities is pretty simple:

Don't buy the vanity with the biggest Black Friday discount. Buy the vanity you would have chosen anyway—when the price is right.
